I have a report in webfocus 8.105. I have 2 numerical fields that need to be shown as 2-2 meaning I must use the edit function to alpha, concatenate the dash in between. the kick is I need to present the field as right justified in a across report. I've tried /R and the RJUST function, no luck. any suggestions?
COMPUTE AMIN_SHIFTS/A4 = EDIT(MIN.GCRS_CAPACITY_CONVERSION_REPORT.GCRS_CAPACITY_CONVERSION_REPORT.SHIFTS); NOPRINT
COMPUTE RZ_MIN_SHIFTS/A4 = TRIM('L', AMIN_SHIFTS, 4, '0', 1, RZ_MIN_SHIFTS); NOPRINT
COMPUTE AMAX_SHIFTS/A4 = EDIT(MAX.GCRS_CAPACITY_CONVERSION_REPORT.GCRS_CAPACITY_CONVERSION_REPORT.SHIFTS); NOPRINT COMPUTE RZ_MAX_SHIFTS/A4 = TRIM('L', AMAX_SHIFTS, 4, '0', 1, RZ_MAX_SHIFTS); NOPRINT
COMPUTE NUSHIFTS/A10 = IF RZ_MIN_SHIFTS EQ '0' THEN '0-' | RZ_MAX_SHIFTS ELSE RZ_MIN_SHIFTS | '-' | RZ_MAX_SHIFTS;
BUT FIELD IS NOT RIGHT JUSTIFIED... This message has been edited. Last edited by: FP Mod Chuck,
use a WebFOCUS Style Sheet and JUSTIFY-RIGHT.
... ON TABLE SET STYLE * TYPE=DATA, ACROSSCOLUMN=AMIN_SHIFTS, JUSTIFY=RIGHT, $ ENDSTYLE END

thank you both. User error on my part, thanks for the text clip, it showed me my acrosscolumn number was off!
