Stylesheet: BACKIMAGE and HTMTBLE
Hello,

Contrary to what the documentation says, it appears that BACKIMAGE for HTMTABLE output does not work. After testing this it seems obvious why: When the output format is HTML, the BODY tag contains a BACKGROUND tag with the background image specfied in the stylesheet. When the output format is HTMTABLE, there is no BODY tag, hence no background image.

The documentation states:

The following StyleSheet features are supported with HTML: JAVASCRIPT (drill down to
JavaScript); TARGET; COLSPAN; HEADALIGN; IMAGEALIGN; IMAGEBREAK; PAGEMATRIX;
GUTTER; BACKIMAGE; BACKCOLOR; IMAGE; GRIDS.

Hi Pietro.

Good catch. This is a documentation error. The Product Manager checked the manual and we list supported HTML features under HTMTABLE which is not correct. We have notified our documentation services department to correct in the next version.

Thanks!

Pietro, you know the work around , yes?
-HTMLFORM BEGIN
[HTML>
[BODY...gackimage tag here>
!IBI.FIL.MYTAB; or [!-- WEBFOCUS TABLE MYTAB -->
[BODY>
[/HTML>
-HTMLFORM END

Thanks for the update on this.

As for the workaround, I am aware how to have a background image in an HTML file, it just wasn't practical in my case.

Thank you,

Pietro.
