Is there a limit in a Maintain procedure as to how many tables or stacks we and use?

A single Maintain procedure can access up to 15 databases. However, since one Maintain can CALL (perform) another Maintain, you can get around this limit by breaking up the application into logical sections tied together by a main menu.

There is no limit to the number of stacks or objects you can have in an application, but there IS a physical limit to the size of the application including everything (Forms, Objects, commands, etc...) This is an extremely high limit and very few have ever hit it. It was more than doubled between release 5.2 and 5.3.

This limit can also be avoided by partitioning the Maintain application into smaller procedures tied together by a main menu or application.
