Desktop/Citrix - Dev Studio 7.6.6
Server - Reporting server 7.6.6
Web tier - WebFOCUS 7.6.11 HF4
Windows 2008

We recently upgraded to Windows 2008 and when running a report from the web tier, if the report contains an amper variable or -PROMPT the agent crashes. http://imwfpr03/ibi_html/homepage/proc.htm

Running from a local install of WebFOCUS not on Citrix or running direct from the server console procedures tab works fine with variables.

Has anyone seen this behavior?

Thanks,
Carol

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT COUNTRY MODEL
IF COUNTRY EQ '&COUNTRY'

It's really strange! For some reason, I am the only one in the company that can run this query without an agent crash after an upgrade to Win2008 and Java and they can't figure out why.

We have opened a case but not successful.

Thanks!

That is weird. Not sure IBI can help with that, unless it's a know Win8 issue. Something I'll keep an eye out for though.

I see that from the prompt page if I append the URL with the parameter it works so it’s the way the page is sending it to the server.

Something is different in Win 2008.

Will post resolution if found.

Thanks
