Hi,

I want to use subfooting on page number. But when I create a field to store page number and hold it, values of page number do not get stored.
Eg. code

TABLE FILE GGSALES
PRINT
CATEGORY
PRODUCT
COMPUTE PAG/I9 = TABPAGENO;
ON TABLE HOLD AS HLD1
END
TABLE FILE HLD1
PRINT
CATEGORY
PRODUCT
BY
PAG
ON PAG SUBFOOT
"THIS REPORT IS CONFIDENTIAL"
ON TABLE SET ONLINE-FMT PDF
END

Is there any way to store page number in hold file?

Piscian,

You do not need to do that.

All you need is

FOOTING BOTTOM
"THIS REPORT IS CONFIDENTIAL"

and that will put it on the bottom of each page.

(updated because I'm sorry I misspelled your name)

For future reference, I don't think that the internal page number variables are initialized when there is only a HOLD file as there are no "pages" produced. In any case, JG has given you the proper technique to do what you need.

Darin
