Hi,

For a Particular report I am getting the below error when run --

LIMIT FOR TOTAL LENGTH OF ALL VERB OBJECTS EXCEEDED

Can you please tell me what does this mean and how to fix it ?

Would you please post your code so that we can see what is causing this message. Or, better yet, can you duplicate it with the CAR file (or another IB sample file) so that we can execute it and determine the cause of this message in your particular case?

As Doug says, details would certainly help to get a more customized reply. With that error specifically, looks like you're trying to jam too much data into a field that will not hold as much. Maybe this thread helps? http://forums.informationbuild...1057331/m/8451068331

In addition to the actual length of the fields, there is a control
variable for every verb object, and some control variables for the
whole report. Concatenating fields can lower the number of control
variables and make a big report fit.


There are several postings in the forum related to this error, perhaps one of them will help.
