Anyone out there using source control with WF?
We're on 7.6 and new to WF. We have VSS and want to use the two together. Can anyone share their practices for Dev to QA to PROD code migrations? Do you still use the Managed Reporting Change Management process?
What issues have you uncovered?

I have VSS with WF76. It is automatically enabled for all environments, but you have to specify which environment is actually loaded to your VSS database. I am developing remotely (due to restrictions in my client's environment...plus I don't have a SQL server local), using MRE. The performance is terrible, but I don't think it's due to developing remotely, because just opening the folders takes forever.

One thing to note, is that files are stored based on the file system folders, not what you normally see in Dev Studio. So VSS puts everything from a domain in the same project.

RE: best practice...I'm a single developer, so I'd prefer to use my dev platform for checking code in/out, then copy files to QA/Prod within Dev Studio (choose the overwrite option) One thing I definitely recommend: use labels in VSS to denote the Prod version, so you can automatically revert to it if you need to.

Does anyone know if I can disable the VSS integration within WF? It showed up automatically when I installed VSS for a different project. Due to bad performance in Dev Studio, I'd like to disable it.
