I have a question very similar to this one from 2009.
http://forums.informationbuild...101030413#3101030413

We have a Collaborative Portal which contains a set of reports with drilldown.
When users click on a report drilldown link after a report is left open for a while it does nothing.
When page is refreshed the drilldown will then work; the user is not sent to the login screen.
--The expectation is actually even if page is left idle for 4 hours the link would still function.

This old thread mentions "WF_COOKIE_EXPIRATION" which was in a screen I believe is gone now.
Administration Console >> Configuration >> Client Settings >> Cookie

In my environment the following settings have been updated. (Applied and server rebooted.)
Apache Tomcat web.xml
1440
Administration Console >> Configuration ribbon >> Application Settings >> Bi Portal
Session Timeout is 1440.
Administration Console >> Security ribbon >> Security Zones >> Default >> Authentication
Remember-Me Authentication is Enabled.

Have I overlooked a setting which would explain this behavior?
Thanks in advance.
