Hi all,

i have a question on Infoassist.i.e; when i use info assist to Build a report,i can see the reporting server from which the masters can be selected.
whereas in Dev studio,i have Data Servers Under which i can so many apps and i can see masters in the master files folder of the particular APPlication.
bUT in info assist i have the reporting server folder only as i dont see apps.

so please help me understand How the apps are configured in Info-assist.

The MR structure shows you the server and all the apps in the DOMAIN definition. If the DOMAIN does not have an app list associated with it, we use the default server APP PATH. If you are making Standard Reports or Reporting Objects, you can override the server and app list. Up through 77x, someone creating a MYReport, can not change server or app list.
In 80x, the default server and app list can be assigned to any MRE folder and administrators can grant to end users who make MY reports (private reports), the ability to choose a different server/app list.
