How do I add fields to a FOC database. It looks like there is set data in there as well, how would I change that data? I don't know how they got there in the first place, I just know I need to update them.

Are there any ideas?

you need to back up the file and Master File Description, change the Master File Description and Rebuild the file doing a Dump and Load to add a field. Look up REBUILD.

Hi Stacy,

Do you have an update on this issue regarding FOC DB add/update? Did Carol's suggestion help you?

I ran a search on Information Builder's online documents and came across the following topics which may be of interest.

Hope this helps. Big Grin
