Retiring
Just wanted to let you know that I will be retiring from Data Processing/Management Information Systems/Information Technology, and Ferris State University at the end of the week.

Also to say THANK YOU to all of you for your help and support throughout the years. I started using PC/FOCUS at Steelcase back in the late 90s, went to Mainframe FOCUS at Ford, and then WebFOCUS at Howmet and Ferris. It has certainly provided me a good career, but it is time to move on to the next phase of life, whatever that is and God has in store for me/us.

You are the best. I have worked with other vendor web sites, user communities, and this is the best!

Thanks Again,
Rick

Best wishes on a long and enjoyable retirement, Rick.

You're correct about Focal Point: great community of friendly, helpful people. I hope you find a similar group in the next phase of your life.

If you want to keep your hand in it be sure to change your email address in your profile to your personal email. You can get the email digest and sign into FOCAL POINT. BTW, retirement is GREAT!!!

Rick-
All the best.
I'm sitting in the airport at NYC having returned from a cruise from Copenhagen. Yes, I and my significant other have been enjoying retirement; we have crossed the Atlantic ten times this year.

I hope you took a copy of WebFOCUS with you.
It comes in handy! For example, I take lots of pictures and I use WF to rename them.

Have a great time!

Bonjour,
In the good old days, I'm afraid that an IBx Guy would've been investigating on this Dev Studio loaded on your home computer.
In French we call that 'a donkey kick' : a mean remark from a mean guy.
Cordially and Focusely Nonetheless.
PS : I'll be gone by the end of the year and, I'm afraid, only with my FFW Six, Power Edition on my home computer (Caliméro)
