Hi,
Is there a way to repeat the contents in subheading when data is displayed in more than one page like the way the heading gets repeated in the report.
Thanks

TYPE={REPORT|headfoot [BY=sortcolumn]}, HEADPANEL={ON|OFF}, $

Hi Francis,
according to your code it works when there are columns that do not fit in a single page but in my case i have 3 columns with overflowing data (200 records for each sort field) and i want to repeat my SORT SUBHEAD when ever the data is more than one page.

It's not my code. The HEADPANEL stylesheet setting is supposed to take care of "Repeat Headings and Footings Per Panel in PDF Report Output"...

Maybe it works in conjunction with the SET PANEL setting...

I think HEADPANEL stylesheet setting works when you have columns overflowing to multiple pages but not the data.

Using this code, please explain what you're expecting to happen:

-* File fpwfdevloper1.fex

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
SEG.BODYTYPE
SEG.LENGTH

BY COUNTRY

HEADING
"THIS IS A CAR REPORT"
"PAGE:<TABPAGENO"
" "

ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF

ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, HEADPANEL=ON, $

ENDSTYLE
END
