Ken,

Think about moving the -REMOTE END to just before your final report such that the data sent from the remote server is post processed at your local server instead?

To add to Tony's remark:
1. I would put the -REMOTE END before your TABLE FILE filename
2. I would use ON TABLE PCHOLD instead of ON TABLE HOLD so that your file is sent to your server.

You need to ON TABLE PCHOLD AS .... statement in the last TABLE request on your DB server and then the -REMOTE END before your TABLE that does the report with the styling. The PCHOLD will bring your answer set back to your reporting server. That's where the styling happens.

Thanks to everyone's help on this. I did move the -REMOTE END up and changed the ON TABLE HOLD commands as suggested.

Apparently any defined data doesn't transfer over? So, I moved the -REMOTE END all the way up to just under the data portion (which now makes sense). I then had to print that out AND TNEN defined the data the way I needed it. So, I got it to work now.

Here is what I came ended up with:

REMOTE DEST = EDASRV32
REMOTE USER = USER
REMOTE PASS = PASS
-RUN
TABLE FILE TABLE
PRINT
..
..
ON TABLE PCHOLD
END

-REMOTE END

TABLE FILE HOLD
PRINT
..
..
ON TABLE HOLD AS NEW_TABLE FORMAT FOCUS
END

DEFINE FILE NEW_TABLE
..
END

TABLE FILE NEW_TABLE
PRINT
..
..
ON TABLE HOLD AS NEW_TABLE_FIN FORMAT FOCUS
END

TABLE FILE NEW_TABLE_FIN
PRINT
..
..
ON DATE PAGE-BREAK
HEADING
"ON TABLE SUBFOOT
"End of Report"
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM OFF
ON TABLE SET BYDISPLAY ON
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
UNITS=IN,
LEFTMARGIN=0.250000,
RIGHTMARGIN=0.250000,
TOPMARGIN=0.250000,
BOTTOMMARGIN=0.250000,
SQUEEZE=ON,
ORIENTATION=PORTRAIT,
$
TYPE=REPORT,
BORDER-TOP=LIGHT,
BORDER-BOTTOM=LIGHT,
BORDER-LEFT=LIGHT,
BORDER-RIGHT=LIGHT,
FONT='TIMES NEW ROMAN',
SIZE=10,
COLOR='BLACK',
STYLE=NORMAL,
$
TYPE=DATA,
BACKCOLOR=( BY=B4 'WHITE' 'SILVER' ),
JUSTIFY=CENTER,
$
TYPE=TITLE,
STYLE=BOLD,
JUSTIFY=CENTER,
$
TYPE=HEADING,
BORDER-TOP=LIGHT,
BORDER-BOTTOM=LIGHT,
BORDER-LEFT=LIGHT,
BORDER-RIGHT=LIGHT,
JUSTIFY=CENTER,
$
ENDSTYLE
END
