I'm using WF8 and I'm getting an extra line between line 4 and line 6. Anybody have any clue how to get rid of this? As a sidenote--I must have the borders (I believe this is the culprit) and get rid of the extra line.

i also faced this issue but did not get any solution until unless i did not remove the borders

Use an Excel template with a macro named Auto_Open and let that add your borders. Maybe it is something that has been fixed in a newer release but I have never had borders in WebFOCUS work the way I want. Here's a simple example of the macro. This does borders around the column titles, does a freeze pane, autofits the columns and turns on auto filter. Almost every Excel report we do has these basic functions.

Another advantage to this is doing group borders. Say you have several columns that are all related and you want to use a thicker border around the column group. Seems much simpler to let an Excel macro do the work, especially since WebFOCUS will not let you freeze panes and turn on auto-filter, do vertical center and a host of other things Excel can do in formatting. Maybe one can do the same thing with CSS but I'm not a CSS person.

Eliminate "HEADING" and adjust "TABHEADING" lines 2 and 3 accordingly... Just a thought.

Not that it matters for the extra line, but, why are you using EXL07 instead of XLSX?

EXL07 and XLSX are the same, they are synonyms.

I've been trying to actually do this with CSS, but I'm having no luck with EXL07. Anyone have any suggestions? @jgelona, your way is a bit over my head and I couldn't get it integrated. :/

I was able to get the code below working, but I'm struggling with EXL07.
