Hi All,

I have a chart and report on Info assist page and all I want is if I click on any of the bar in chart than for that dimension data is displayed in the report. Is there a way, I can do this in Info Assist?

Thank you,
MM

Absolutely! On the format menu option there is a icon for autolink which allows a report to be used in that manner. The help is very good at explaining how to use it. Autodrill requires hierarchical dimensions to be defined in the master file and you can always specify a specific drill down to a report from the field menu option for the selected field.

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Thank you Chuck.
I could do drill down using the refresh BI portal but the problem is how I can restore the original values (drill up) for the report since in Refresh BI portal there was no need to create hierarchies.

That is a dilemma, does anyone else have an idea how to do this?

If I am using the same panel or page I code an html back (-1) or (-2) hyperlink to get back to the Original. If not I push the original selections and then use a hyperlink to go back. Sometimes I would have to go back to another page and panel(content area).
