I have been requested to create a sales dashboard that needs to display on the windows 7 desktop kinda like the clock and weather gadgets that display on windows 7. Need to know if this is possible or has anyone had to do something of this nature.

It looks like it's easy to create: ModMyForum: How to Create your Own Windows7 Gadgets, using XML HTML and CSS, you could call WebFOCUS...

Hi Francis - I would have liked to look at the example but I get 'Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!' and it won't even let me register. Bummer! It also says an error occurred. Thanks anyhow.

I just did a Google Search for 'build a Windows 7 dashboard widget'...

I can't get to that forum from the company pc, but I can from my iPhone or home pc...

Try to find another site. I may find some time to test this idea - if I do, I'll post some code...

Francis
