hi,

I am new to javascripting. I am facing as issue of resetting a drop down. I have four drop downs. One of the drop down has values which are hard coded as WTD, MTD and YTD.The next drop down has values 2007 and 2008.When I select WTD and MTD the next drop down must be greyed and the values should be populated when i select YTD only. The issue is when I select MTD, the drop down is getting greyed but when i hit the reset button, the drop down is still greyed. Can anyone help me on this? .

How are you "greying" out the combo boxes? are you disabling them or just changing the colouration?

Either way you will need to change the on click triggered event for your reset button to call a routine that undoes the effects you have made.

You can do this via an "onclick" event on the reset button or change the type of the reset control to "button" and then use the onclick event for this. However if you use the latter option then you must remember to call "form.reset();" within the onclick event.
