I am using WebFocus 5.23
Is there a way to make an excel read only via the Focus code so the users can not change the values in the cells ?

Is this a feature in AppStudio? i can't find it. I'm exploring Excel output security options for "read-only" or a password protection.

Please share thoughts..

Never mind, found a link for this setting PROTECTED=ON but apparently only good for EXL2K. Anyone tried to get it work with newer formats?
