Hi,

i have the following columns and data
Test_id---dow_id---revenue---Test_name---Test_desc
----------------------------------------
1000------1--------10----------kris--------test
1000------2--------20----------kris--------test
1000------5--------12----------kris--------test
2777------2--------14----------mess--------ress
2777------7--------17----------mess--------ress
-------------------------------------------

Is it possible to display the above data as following report

Test_id--- dow_id---revenue---dow_id---revenue---dow_id---revenue---dow_id----revenue---dow_id---revenue---dow_id---revenue---dow_id---revenue---Test_name---Test_desc
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1000-----1----------10-------2---------20---------0---------0--------0---------0---------5--------12-------0---------0----------0--------0-------krish-------test
2777------0---------0----------2--------14--------0---------0---------0---------0--------0---------0-------0----------0----------7-------17------mess--------ress

Basically i want to display columns for all the Dow's i.e.. 1-7 never mind if the data exist or not for any of the DOW's
is it possible to achive the above in WebFOCUS?

Thanks
krish

Krish,

Since I don't have your file, I am using the CAR file and instead of your TEST_NAME field I am simulating using AVE.RETAIL. In your example, just replace the fields.
In order to place the TEST_NAME at the end of the ACROSS, use the SEQUENCE attribute in your stylesheet with a high number:

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM AVE.RETAIL
BY COUNTRY
LIST SALES SEATS
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE HOLD
END
-RUN
DEFINE FILE HOLD
ALIST/A5=LJUST(5, FTOA(LIST, '(D5c)', 'A5'), 'A5');
COLS/A12='COLUMN' || ALIST;
END
TABLE FILE HOLD
SUM AVE.RETAIL
BY COUNTRY
SUM SALES SEATS
BY COUNTRY
ACROSS COLS AS ''
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=AVE.RETAIL, SEQUENCE=99, $
ENDSTYLE
END

Krish,

You're welcome.
Out of curiosity, what type of application are you setting up?
