Saving XML output in client machine

Hi,

I am generating a XML report using WebFOCUS. Currently,the XML output is just displaying in browser. But, i want to store the output in local machine instead of showing in browser.

I can't use FILEDEF since,my client and reporting are in different location.

you can use hold file for storing the XML output.

There may be a better solution then this, but you could do what Avinash says and hold or save to the server and then using javascript you could open the file (or give them a link to download) onto their computer.

I would suggest using a common network location to store the XML file.
