Hello,

Can someone please provide me the .mas and .acx code for accessing a .csv file(from sharepoint or even a folder in WebFOCUS environment) in webfocus. 2 columns should be enough. I need the syntax in .mas and .acx file.

Thank you,
Prajakta

If you put the .csv file in one of the app folders you can create a new synonym and choose delimited file and point it to the .csv file. It will only create a .mas file no ,acx is required for a .csv.

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Thank you so much for the response!
Please note I need to create this .mas file manually. I would be grateful if you could provide an example for me to refer.

Thanks and Regards,
Prajakta

You really shouldn't have to do this manually but here is an example of the .mas

FILENAME=POSTS, SUFFIX=DFIX ,
DATASET=C:\ibi\apps\baseapp\IP_PROFILES.csv, $
SEGMENT=POSTS, SEGTYPE=S0, $
FIELDNAME=YR_MONTH, ALIAS=DATE, USAGE=A7, ACTUAL=A7B,
TITLE='DATE', $
FIELDNAME=SEQ, ALIAS=SEQ, USAGE=P12, ACTUAL=A10V,
TITLE='SEQ', $
FIELDNAME=USER_ID, ALIAS=USER_ID, USAGE=A23V, ACTUAL=A23BV,
TITLE='USER_ID', $
FIELDNAME=EMAIL, ALIAS=EMAIL, USAGE=A35V, ACTUAL=A35BV,
TITLE='EMAIL', $
FIELDNAME=IBI_FLAG, ALIAS=IBI, USAGE=A3V, ACTUAL=A3BV,
TITLE='IBI', $
FIELDNAME=POSTS, ALIAS=POSTS, USAGE=I4, ACTUAL=A2V,
TITLE='POSTS', $

Also I was wrong about the .acx. Here is the sample for that as well.

SEGNAME=POSTS,
DELIMITER=',',
ENCLOSURE='"',
CDN=COMMAS_DOT,
CONNECTION=, $
