Our first WebFOCUS project was done as a BID and it went very well. We had to pass parameters to our reports so we needed to get into some HTML. No rocket science but it still had to be done. I recall a bit of JavaScript was used as well. There is more work in self service type applications but you have absolute control of your front end.

Using: WF 7.1.5, XP Pro, Tomcat, Self Serve

Hi Adolf,

My current client is totally BID with Active Directory authentication and authorisation. It gives a reasonable interface for an application launch depending upon how you decide to configure it.

The "standard" BID look is easily customised to support a corporate image.

More than happy to provide some consultancy if required ..... Big Grin Roll Eyes

Hi Adolf,

For a start review of Dashboard, the following manual may be of interest:

WebFOCUS Managed Reporting Administrator's Manual 7.1.3, Chapter 5 thru 9.

You will need to have an InfoResponse userID/password to access this manual.

Hope it helps. Big Grin

Cheers,

Kerry
