Is there such a thing as an Active Excel report? Someone asked me if it's possible to have a main Excel spreadsheet, with hyperlinks to detail rows that open in a new Excel spreadsheet?

Hi Francis,

Yes, I have seen them often, but, I think they all use a VB macro.

Here's a link.

You might want to look into EXCEL PIVOT.

Sorry - EXL2K PIVOT.

Just don't forget to add the CACHEFIELDS and the PAGEFIELDS.

I wish we could handle such this thing using WebFOCUS.

Is there a way to have those sorting buttons to any field on a EXL2k report?

I am reproducing a operational reports ( actually it is around 6 reports and a loop creating multiples sheets on excel). Then I need to sort them by highest values and pct. I did HOLDs to get highest values then MATCH or JOIN to report it. I want to avoid doing multiples HOLDs.

Any hint?

Thanks

In Excel, just go to the Data tab and select filters
