I running into problems while generation Scatter graph with thousands of data points.

First, I tried with PCHOLD. This slowed the system considerably and would not generate the graph. No errors.

Later, I tried creating the graph at the server as a GIF file and called the GIF in the heading of the report. Even at the server level I have to put a record limit of 4600. I arrived at the number 4600 after several trail and error runs. However, by adopting this method I loose tooltip text and drill down option.

Please let me know if there are any limitations for Scatter graphs? Also, suggest me workaround for this issue. Thanks.
