I want to redirect my users to the group view login page when their session times out. Any idea how to do this on timeout?

Hi RaviD,

Have you tried setting the IBI_Signout_Redirect_URL in the client admin console? Hopefully this will work when the user explicitly signs out or the session times out:

Globally specifies the URL to which signed-out users are directed, unless a different sign-out URL is specified for a security zone using the appropriate security zone settings file, overriding the default. By default, the IBI_Signout_Redirect_URL value is a slash (/), which brings the user back to the WebFOCUS Welcome page.


WF 8.1.05, MRE, BI Portal, App Studio, Apache Tomcat/8.0.21, MS Windows Server 2014 Express, MS Windows 10, Chrome

Has anyone resolved this ? We are on WF814 and still have the same problem on session timeout.
Where do you force a redirect ?

They have fixed this in WF 8.2.01M. I tested it again with 8.1.05 but it does not redirect.

Where is that redirect option ? I assume that we can put whatever we want as the redirect URL or is always redirect to login page without the option to change it ?
Under WF8201M gen 193 can't find it Confused

And it doesn't seems to work since I receive the error : "Access to item denied" once the session times out...
