Hi All,

Need help in creating FOCUS file more than 2GB (Read somewhere the maximum size is 2GB). Is there any way to break the large files into multiple focus files and how can we merge in code.

Can we get a sample code for the same.

Regards,
Suresh

You could just use a different format. I suggest XFOCUS. You can also store in an RDBMS of your choice.

You could try using FOCUS and use MORE to concatenate separate FOCUS files, but that's a lot of trouble that will probably gain you nothing compared to using XFOCUS instead.

Thanks Wep5622 for your suggestion.

We already implemented the XFOCUS instead of FOCUS in our report and it works fine now.

Regards,
Suresh
