Hello

I have a drop down that is populated dynamically from a table. I checked 'Add ALL Option" in parameters to display ALL on top of values in drop down.

When ALL is selected, _FOC_NULL is sent to the fex in the background. Can we send a custom value directly from HTML page when ALL is selected without writing a SET in the fex?

Please suggest

Thanks.

you'll have to be willing to write a fex to populate your dropdown, and not pull from a masterfile.
we do it this way. we never ever use the 'add ALL option';
Are you willing to do that?

  PRINT COMPUTE NAME/A30=LAST_NAME || ', '|FIRST_NAME ; BY EMP_ID

ON TABLE HOLD AS H2
END
DEFINE FILE  EMPLOYEE
EMP_ID/A9 WITH LAST_NAME='ALL';

END

TABLE FILE EMPLOYEE
PRINT EMP_ID  NAME
IF RECORDLIMIT IS 1
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT XML
