HI all, I am trying to save a fex in Hold file and then copy the file from the server to the local client so the user can email the file. But I can't get to work. I copied this code from the forum yet it still isn't working as expected. Any one have an Idea or a better method?
  <br />ON TABLE SAVE AS 'GIBO_OUT' FORMAT ALPHA<br />-SET &CMD = 'XCOPY \\MK400BLD1\wwwroot\Output_Hold\GIBO_OUT.FTM \\mYLOCAL\SAVE\GIBO_TEST.TXT';<br />-SET &RC = SYSTEM(96,'XCOPY \\MK400BLD1\wwwroot\Output_Hold\GIBO_OUT.FTM \\mYLOCAL\SAVE\GIBO_TEST.TXT','I4');<br />-*original syntax<br />-*SET &RC = SYSTEM(&CMD.Length,&CMD,'I4');<br />

what works for me is
CMD COPY &FILE1 &FILE2 /Y
I'm sure you've filedeffed &file1 and it really is where you expect it to be.
XCOPY would seem to be overkill, since you're copying spec to spec, and no directories
