we are just beginning with webfocus... we set up a domain called HR and included all payroll tables. then we set up a developer account linked to that domain. however, when this guy tried to create a new report, all the tables, not just payroll tables, showed up. how can we correct this to where this user can see only payroll tables in the domain hr?

you need to create a new app path (folder) on the back end report server and put only the master file for that domain in there and then tie the domain properties to that app path only.

Hope this helps

PS all master in the baseapp will be shared across all domains.

We are on version 5.2.5 and I keep access to master files restricted by domains and reporting objects within those domains. I also make sure that the User Profile is Analytic User with the Advanced option unchecked. The Advanced option allows the individuals to create custom reports which allows access to all master file defs. I've found Reporting Objects to work very well.
