I've installed PostgreSQL 8.0.0 on a W2K box and trying to figure out what character set to use to display Swedish charaters in WebFOCUS Dev Studio 4.3.6. I'm using the ODBC driver that comes with PostgreSQL. The default set for PostgreSQL is UNICODE, but if I set the WF Code page to UNICODE (or any other code page), Maintain crashes with the message Invalid byte sequence when I try to update a row. It displays the row correctly when it shows in the grid. Creating a report works fine. Any ideas anyone?
