We have created two AD Groups and have some users that overlap both. Created one Domain in WF and have two groups IndustryDashboard and RelationshipDashboard and linked both groups to their respective ADGroups, with some users residing in both groups. When they first logon they are being added to first AD Group in this case Industry. I am unable to add the AUTOADD(ed) user to another group inside the security tool. Is this by design ? We will have users across many AD Groups, my thought process was to create an AD group for our specific portals and assign users to these ADgroups and link to security groups inside WF, but if it is by design that an AD user AUTOADD( ed) can only reside in one group I may have to rethink my security model, any suggestions, or is this yet another bug in 8.0.9 ????

I did same thing you are doing. It works fine. Just make sure your AD groups are mapped to your WF groups. When they are linked you won't necessarily see the users show up in the WF groups. I did a presentation on this at Summit last year. Message me if you would like a copy of it.
