Date time conversion
I have a date format '2007-01-17 00:00' that I am trying to convert for a report. Does anyone know of a function that would work or the format I could use with the edit function. I've tryed HPART and HCNVRT with no luck...

Any suggestions

What is the data format of the field, alpha or DATE or HYYMDS? There are no seconds or milliseconds?

What are you trying to convert it to?

I've not worked with that format, but in the master if it is a usage USAGE=HYYMDS, would HDATE work?

If you never use the time part of that date field you can also change the master.
USAGE=YYMD, Actual=DATE.
Or add an extra field in the master witch points to the same field and with the settings mentioned above.
