Hi,
I am working on Line graph. I have three series of data. Out of which one series values will always be zero. In the graph I want this series to be appear but corresponding value(i.e., 0) should not be displayed. But for other series data values should be displayed.

Second thing in the legend I want the kind of line should appear along with the text.

Could you please help me in this.

Thanks
Deepa

Deepa,

Get hold of the graphics manual as it is a very good source for this sort of research. The Perspective for Java Programming manual (www.threed.com) is basically the engine the IB use for their graph output.

Also, remember to use the search facility above right to locate similar posts on graphing (there are many).

Deepa,

From opening the graphing manual it took me less than two minutes to locate information relating to your question. It's not difficult.

To give you a start, you are looking for something to do with datatext properties.

setDisplay(getDataText(2), false);

... and by locating the code yourself you have added to your insight when looking for java code in the graphics manual. Therefore you are better prepared for the next time you need a particular piece of code.

For my money, that is the best outcome of this request for assistance, you have improved your skills rather than being in a position to "cut and paste" code given to you. Smiler
