Is there a way to disable this from appearing at the bottom of all HTML reports?

Francis,

I only see that when I do a view source. For me, it is good documentation.

Are you actually seeing that message on the user-facing page? I don't ever remember seeing that in any of the releases I worked on and 5.3 was one of them.

It's on a "user-facing" page if they view-source. I'd like to control this comment showing up, if possible.

Do they need to view source or is it just that they can so they might? Make the output appear in a new browser window without boarders, status bar, tool bar etc. etc. etc. and then disable the context menu on right click.

Can you create the output file in XML and use an XSL to style and display the output? That way you wouldn't even have any source to view. A bit excessive, but hey, if it floats your boat .....

I would like to let them "view source" but I'd like to leave no trace that WebFOCUS was involved (other than the URL, of course, which I could also mask if I felt like it).

Thanks.

Francis

Francis,
I don't think it is possible to prevent this message form being generated. It is a hard coded message in ibiweb.exe and it will be generated whenever a successful request has been processed.
The help info given by ibiweb.exe also does ot give any hint on preventing this message, it just is being typed out.
Maybe opening a case with IBI will get you a definite answer to your question, although I'm afraid it's a no-no.
