What version of Oracle are you upgrading from?
Currently, WebFOCUS/iWAy adaptors support upto Oracle 10g.
You'll need to check with IBI for the support of Oracle 11. I am almost certain IBI will have Oracle 11 adaptor tested and ready before Oracle releases the version. You will need to use the new Oracle 11 adaptor if the 10g is not compatible.

Thanks,
Sayed

Log into Techsupport and look at the Supported Systems/Adapters

Supported systems and adapters are always available on Techsupport, and if they are not in the list, then put in a case with IBI and ask the question.

Rocky,

You can check from your reporting server console. It should be 10g or maybe 9i.

Thanks,
Sayed

The important thing is the version of the Oracle client the WebFOCUS server uses.

If you have the 10g client installed on the WebFOCUS server then that can talk
quite happily to an Oracle 11 system.

The only issue is that Oracle 11 enhancements will not be available
meaning the SQL generated by the adapter may not be fully optimized.
