When I run a report in deferred status mode, the window pops up normally and lets me know that the report has kicked off. When I try a second time, no window pops open. Before I upgraded, this worked fine. Now I have to close down Developer Studio to make it work again. So each second time I have to restart Dev Studio. You might want to check the "tabs"-settings in IE.
IE8 has some new ways to deal with tabs.
btw I had IT-dep uninstall IE8 yesterday. Doesn't work well with HTML-composer and gives scripting-errors with adv.graph editor !

I don't believe IE8 is supported until ver 7.6.10. Follow the link and scroll down to the supported browser section. BTW, you have to have an account on IBI's website.
