In Dev Studio, you can go to an app folder, right click on \Master Files\ and choose Upload Data File. You get a wizard that lets you browse for a file, such as an XLS or a CSV, define the structure and where to put it. When the wizard is finished, you end up with a text file and a master file to read the data from the text file. Very civilized.
Now, I've got a situation where my Production environment is not accessible through Dev Studio. I need to upload a new version of the spreadsheet using only the web-based tools, such as the reporting server or the MRE servlet application. Is there any way I can trigger the upload data file utility from one of these web tools, or is it a 100% Dev Studio only feature?

Try this. 1. Go to Prod Environment Dashboard. 2. Navigate to My Reports -> Custom reports. 3. Right click on Custom Report and you will get Upload file option. 4. User can upload Data file on to WFRS.
I believe above option is available only to Power Users authorization.
