Can restrictions be set on the type of synonym a business developer is able to create? i.e. file vs. database table

There is an active project at IB to do this. You can open a case to get the specifics to ensure it will meet your needs.

I saw that 'reach out' in my case from Robert Z.

The project number is 210886 but it is an internal system you won't have access to.
