Hi,

I have a problem with a chart I am trying to build. The end users want a horizontal stacked bar chart where the user can click through and create detailed report based on the intersection of the chart OR be able to click on the legend that would then pull a detailed report for a specific series. I can't get this to work and instead created a report that builds footers with hyperlinks that run specific report.

This has caused some issues. 1) If I use a footer, I don't know dynamically which series will have data points in a report. Therefore, there are links that don't pull up any data and are useless. 2) If a footer is used, the links aren't visible if I include the chart in an HTML page without using the ON CHART SET EMBEDHEADING functionality, which forces the footer to be only text and the footer loses the ability to be used as a hyperlink.

It seems easier to me to find a way to use the legend items for the click through. I understanding if I can't, but looking for best/possible solutions that use hyperlinks to create the drill through report.

Code is as follows (for the chart):

Hi drPib81

The Chart documentation can be found on the IBI Technical Content Library.

You can navigate to your version of WebFOCUS and click on the "+" to open the links.

There will be a link "Charting" that should help with your query.

Thank you for participating in the Focal Point Forum.

Kindest regards,
Tamra Colangelo

Thank you for the direction, I was able to find a solution that works, not the one that is desired.
