HI,

If sum of a perticular field is zero, I am not able to display 0 (zero) with format exl2k.

If I use format exl97, I am able to display 0.

I am using
ON TABLE SET NODATA 0 in my program.

Please let me know the solution for format exl2k.

hi jagan ,

Try setting SET EMPTYCELL=OFF.
That way your 0 might appear for the summed column.

Thanks

SET EMPTYCELLS = OFF
SET NODATA = 0
APP PREPENDPATH ibisamp

TABLE FILE CAR

SUM SALES ACROSS COUNTRY BY CAR
 ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K
END

works for me.
it seems EMPTYCELLS ON, the default, forces override with blank.
so turning that OFF completely is the only way to get the nodata character to show up in excel..
also doing a techsupport search on EMPTYCELL comes up empty. hmmm. So i found it in the Creating Reps/Language manual.
Thanks Arvind, for bringing this feature to our attn.
