I try to send a report with Reportcaster

The report is in HTML and it should be an inline report.
This is done many times and it works perfect.

Now we want to add a graph or visualise some figures. Then we get an Active X error....
Is this a bug?
Is it some settings I need to change?

any suggestion?

Frank,

After evaluating the active X error message (if there is one!), I would begin by looking at the source of the HTML that are received and checking that all the URLs can be determined successfully.

If you want to use vizualization then

use

SET BASEURL=

and

ON TABLE SET STYLE *
GRAPHTYPE=DATA, FIELD=fieldname, GRAPHCOLOR=yourcolor,$

If you want to include a graph then the graph must be saved to a permanant location accessable via a
URL from the client location. You must supply a full url for the graph not a relative one as that will not
be known to the e-mail client.

heres an old example from IBIs doc site

FILEDEF CARGIF DISK C:\ibi\WebFOCUS52\ibi_html\CARGIF.GIF
SET GRAPHSERVURL=http://localhost/ibi_apps/IBIGraphServlet

GRAPH FILE CAR
SUM SALES
BY COUNTRY
ON GRAPH HOLD AS MYGRAPH FORMAT GIF
END
-RUN

TABLE FILE CAR
HEADING
"Example of incorporating a graphical image in a WebFOCUS report"
PRINT CAR COUNTRY SALES MODEL
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=HEADING, IMAGE=http://localhost/ibi_html/cargif.gif,$
END
