Has anyone seen the following issue when creating an HTML Composer launch page?

You create a fex and initiate your -DEFAULT vars to drive the controls creation on your new launch page. Nothing else.

Then, you create a brand new HTML file. Add a button, then a hyperlink, using the fex above as the external procedure.

The vars you -DEFAULTed pop-up, but so are some others. The uninvited vars are from another fex in the same domain.

I copied the fex to a different Domain and the same thing happended.

Anyone know why this happens?

Thanks

Hi Don,
Did you create the second HTML launch page from scratch or by copying for formating and logos and the such. I've found that by copying HTML code you can drag some stange Variables etc.. along with the code WF leave ref to even the original .fex files. Edit your HTML file in text editor and search for FEX and you will see what I mean

You can hide the defaults from the include by using -DEFAULTH instead of -DEFAULT.

This problem was caused by not paying attention to the bottom of the fex. There was a leftover -INCLUDE that referenced an old procedure.

Just goes to show you that almost all Ghost Stories have a some pratical explaination.

Thanks Guys
