FYI:

With DevStudio by default when you open a procedure .fex it will open the Procedure Viewer. Similar to this in AppStudio the Procedure Viewer is a Panel that you may want to use when opening a .fex procedure.
see: App Studio for the Developer Studio User > Developer Studio and App Studio Interface Differences > Creating Procedures
However it's a new and pretty different and for some of you it could be tricky to locate where it is or how to use it.
Here is the method to make sure you open the Procedure Viewer panel in AppStudio :

1) Procedure Viewer is located on the left right below the Content by default.
2) It's an option in AppStudio to activate the Procedure Viewer
2) To activate that you click and open the Home tab in App Studio. Then make sure you check the Box under View: Procedure View
look at the same documentation URL here:
App Studio for the Developer Studio User > Developer Studio and App Studio Interface Differences > Main Interface Commands

3) So if the option is set once you open up a procedure .fex by default you should see the Procedure View Panel on the left side, then you can start using it!

3) the way it works is that the procedure is having components in sequential order, by default you have a Comment component only at the top, you can start building a procedure right after that by right clicking the Comment then select one Option like a JOIN or DEFINE or a Report. To add more component just right click the previous component you want like if you add a DEFINE after a JOIN you right click the JOIN component, and so on you right click the DEFINE to add a REPORT or a CHART.

see more details in this content in the doc. :
App Studio for the Developer Studio User > Creating Procedures > Accessing and Using the Procedure View Panel

In hope it will help you start using the NEW Procedure Viewer Panel in AppStudio!

Feel free to ask a question if you have one.

Note: You may want to use the Dialog Manager commands in your procedure like APP HOLD is not in the GUI, to do this when using the right-click you select the very last option at the bottom and it opens a component with the Editor.
