While I wait for Tech Support to help me out, I thought I'd try this with Focalpointers...

When I go to the BID login page (which is a JSP file) the page is not rendered correctly, see the image below. The links all work, but because (I'm guessing) the language cannot be determined, everything displays as "undefined".

Clicking on the last undefined, I can login to Viewbuilder, but all the text is "undefined" as well.

I have a feeling a config file somewhere got corrupted (this happened with mpv.xml three weeks ago), but I don't know which config file it could be.

Does anyone have any ideas?

It's either corruption that has taken place, or it's a question of security. I've had this before, in that case it came down to setting the right file permissions for the worp directories (mainly adding the authenticated users and anonymous with fiull control).

Hope this helps...

I don't think the permissions changed. They're set slightly different than you suggest, both authenticated users and anonymous have all permissions except for "Full Control" and "Special Permissions".

It looks like I have solved the problem. I thought I'd try a few things while waiting for Tech Support.

From New Atlanta ServletExec Admin, I reloaded the WebFOCUS_53 web application and then navigated to the BID login page - everything is back to normal.

A hiccup in the space-time continuum?
