I have reports that are have fex file launch pages (which include -HTMLFORM BEGIN and HTMLFORM END) which call a separate fex files. On the launch page, I have both Run, Run Defer, and Reset buttons. When I Run Defer a report, the called fex is submitted into the queue as expected. Once the report is completed, if you click the "parameters" button, I only get an html page with the Run Defer and Reset buttons. None of my other parameters are displayed. Has anyone had this problem?

I've also tried a report with the launch page created in HTML layout painter which calls a run deferred only fex. There is only a single RUN button on the HTML page, but again in the Deferred Report Status Page, when I click the parameters button I get an HTML page of only the RESET and DEFER buttons (both do not even exist on the launch page in this case).

I just ran into this as well and opened a case on it. I had to change the IBIMR_prompting parameter in the WF client from XMLRUN to XMLPROMPT and this fixed the problem. However, as expected, it changes the automatic prompting behavior as documented.

No problems, per se, but changing to XMLPROMPT causes -DEFAULT parameters to always be prompted for. This was the default behavior in previous releases with XMLRUN, but XMLRUN now only prompts if one ore more variables remain unresolved. If you have -DEFAULTs for all variables (which we have done as a standard) then it doesn't prompt. For us, that was OK.
