We are looking for a WebFocus Developer on behalf of our client, Fidelity Investments. This position is based in Boston, MA. This is a 4 month contract role.

Summary
The group has recently developed a Data Warehouse and implemented a reporting solution utilizing IBI Web Focus. The system provides business groups with critical financial information used in making tactical and strategic decisions through a set of stock reports as well as the ability for select persons to create ad-hoc reports.

The qualified candidate should have 3 to 4 years dedicated experience to IBI Web Focus development and a background in financial reporting.

The candidate also needs to be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment where the ability to adapt and handle changes to requirements is essential to job success. This individual will be required to make strong contributions both independently and as a team member and will be responsible for enhancing the current reports as well as building new reports. Strong organizational skills coupled with effective written and verbal communication skills are important qualities.

Report Development Experience
• Must be able to read and write Web Focus code, but also be able to use IBI Development Studio with equal proficiency (PRIMARY FOCUS IS DEVSTUDIO)
• Must Understand FML (Financial Modeling Language) and Painter
• Must understand complex graphs and charting
• Must have understanding of relational model design and dimensional modeling
• Experience with facilitating\participating in requirements and/or design meetings to collect and understand requirements from various business groups
• SQL and TSQL experience is a plus.
• SQL Server database design and ETL using DTS and SSIS skills are a plus

Qualifications
• Minimum dedicated IBI (web focus) experience 4 years
• Web Focus version 7.6.1 through 7.6.4 - 3-4 Years
• Report & Chart Design Experience - 2-3 Years
• FML Financial Modeling Language 2-3 years
• Dialog Manager - 2-3 Years
• MRE - 3 Years
• Dashboard - 2 Years
• HTML Painter 1 year
• JavaScript is a plus
