Bristol West Insurance Group located in Independence Ohio is looking for:
This position is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining Enterprise reporting system with respect to access methods, access time, validation checks and statistical methods.

Responsibilities include support and develop Enterprise web-based reporting system utilizing WebFocus, Oracle, and DB/2. Regularly work with Claims, Actuarial, Product, Policy Services and Finance managers. Work with our business customers to analyze their reporting needs and develop innovative solutions to provide this information. Provide Quality Assurance reports for IT to balance feeds between systems and ensure the integrity of our data. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualified applicants will possess: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (or other related discipline). 6 years of SQL reporting development experience on either UNIX and/or Linux, WinNT, OS/400 platform. Exceptional analytical and technical problem solving skills. Strong understanding of relational databases, PL/SQL, SQL, HTML, Javascript and Microsoft Access. Advanced SQL skills, data modeling, data set creation, format manipulation. Prior WebFocus & Insurance experience preferred. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with customers at all levels including senior management. Strong project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
