Responsibilities:
WebFOCUS Report Developer to help support enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reporting initiatives.
Analyze business requirements and legacy reports to drive new development utilizing WebFOCUS and SQL Server.
Interface and communicate with business customers and team leads for scope, estimates, requirements and project deliverables.
Interface with the various information technology groups, as needed, for source-to-target mappings and reporting interfaces.
Work with DBA's, as needed, to manage schema changes.
Create and maintain production support documentation.
Use project management and systems development life cycle methodologies to achieve on time results.

Qualifications:
Education

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent experience.



Skills

Webfocus 7.x or higher, including metadata, reports and dashboards, experience with front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), SQL Server.



Requirements

1-5 years of experience in complete report lifecycle development using WebFOCUS, including metadata, reports and dashboards (minimum 1 year with version 7.x or higher).
Solid analytical skills and ability to examine requirements, re-engineer existing processes, envision new concepts and deliver complete reporting solutions.
Experience producing highly formatted WebFOCUS PDF reports and dashboards based on complex business logic and intricate database design.
Hands-on experience with front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Advanced understanding of databases and Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) development.
Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills and Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

I am a computer engineering graduate, do have relevant experience of 20 months in software development and database administration using IBM rational rose. But I am alien to Web-focus.
