The WebFOCUS/Systems Analyst position is an integral part of the Information Technology functional area at Lipari Foods. The selected individual will spend significant time working with Information Builders Web Focus to develop reports, administer the application as well as provide support to users within the organization. This position will be involved in many projects and have involvement in all of the phases of the application and report development life cycle including the gathering of the requirements, development and testing of code.

This position at Lipari Foods will engage in research, documenting and analyzing business unit needs and translating them into system design by defining the business unit’s objectives and requirements. The Systems Analyst will also serve as a technical resource and provide functional guidance to business unit initiatives and projects. The selected candidate will interact with various teams throughout the organization including Business Development, Category Management, HR, Customer Service and Accounting.

Working knowledge of databases and database connectivity including MySQL, DB2 as well as MS SQL desired as necessary components of the report writing process. Lipari Food sis willing to train the chosen candidate in organization-specific applications and modifications.
Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Retalix, will be beneficial in the development, deployment and support of report writers within the organization. Lipari Foods is willing to train the chosen candidate in ERP functionality assuming other technological knowledge is present.

Skill Level Requirements:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
•2+ years of on-the-job information systems and data processing experience
•2+ years recent experience with HTML
•Experience working with personal computers and related software
•MUST have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English

Additional Desired Capabilities

•2+ years of experience in Information Builders Web Focus 7.6.10
•2+ years work experience with DB2, MySQL, and/or MS SQL
•Knowledge of ERP applications and file structures, particularly on the Retalix platform
