Our Client is currently seeking Developers with experience developing Business Intelligence Applications using Information Builders WebFocus.

This person will actively participate in the development projects and day to day maintenance of production systems whilst also being involved with all phases of the product development cycle: from requirements gathering and scoping, to initial design, implementation, testin, UAT with Clients and post-production maintenance and support.

Successful candidates will have strong development experience with WebFocus and Business Intelligence Applications.

You will need to demonstrate the skills and behaviours in the following:
- Tertiary Qualifications or relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated experience with Information Builders WebFocus version 7.6.x
- Must have experience using WebFocus with DB2 v8.x and Oracle v9.x in AIX/UNIX platform
- Good working knowledge of Unix Scripts, Java Scripts and html
- Strong Analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills. Able to use complex SQL queries to investigate data issues
- Development experience in a large data warehouse project is a must
- Understanding of best practice SDLC methodologies
- Previous Insurance/Finance industry experience preferred but not essential
